Kepos, or “garden” in Greek, represents Ampeleia’s drive to offer wines with character and their own identity. This wine shines through with its harmonious and approachable nature. Its blend of Grenache, Mourvedre, and carignan provides a very south of France profile that brings a pure and lively experience to the palate. We have tasted 2016, 2017, and 2019 vintages, which were equally satisfying. But fair warning – 2020 will be the last dance for Kepos, as the producer will no longer make it after that vintage.


The wine shows aromas of redcurrants, pomegranate, lemons, fresh lavender, and clay. Bright and balanced. Vibrant and crunchy with juicy character. Flavorful, textured finish.


Ampeleia is a serious project from renowned winemaker Elisabetta Foradori, who transplanted the biodynamic winemaking processes of her family’s estate in Trentino to Tuscany, where she has partnered with Marco Tait in pursuing the same biodynamic philosophy, tailoring it to the Tuscan ecosystem.

Food Pairing

Enjoyable by itself and interesting enough as such, we like it with cold cuts and cheeses, some beefy grilled meat such as Hanger steak or Flank. Stew works too in winter and all things barbecued.

Serving tips

Serve out of the fridge at around 8-10 degrees and let it warm up in the glass.


Buy 6 bottles or 12 bottles if your cellar allows as the wine will no longer be available after this year’s release. Very good value for money too.

We offer free delivery for orders over HKD 1,000. For any orders below that, we will charge a flat rate of HKD 1000. Shipping will be in 3-5 working days.
